Description
The U.S. Army is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor to disconnect and dispose of two existing 20 kVA uninterruptible power supplies and associated batteries, then install and hardwire customer-supplied APC Smart-UPS 20000 units and battery cabinets. The work includes site surveying, mechanical assembly, AC/DC/bypass connections, conduit and cable routing, battery connections, removal of installation debris, and compliance with applicable electrical, safety, environmental, and building codes. The contractor must test and commission the system in normal, bypass, and battery modes; document electrical measurements, power quality, functional performance, deficiencies, and disposal; provide as-built documentation, manuals, warranty information, and basic user training if required; and use licensed Class A journeyman or master electricians for electrical terminations. The quotation must include technical capability, safety and environmental plans, personnel qualifications, up to three relevant projects from the past three years, and a firm-fixed-price schedule in one consolidated PDF of no more than seven pages. Award will use a lowest-price technically acceptable evaluation.
