Description
Bergen County is purchasing and seeking delivery of one new Fontaine Workhorse 55LCC Air Tridem flat-level-deck trailer, or an approved equal. The trailer must have a 55-ton capacity, a 13-foot load base, three axles with nominal 25,000-pound capacity per axle, a 52-foot-10-inch overall length, an 8-foot-6-inch deck width, air-ride suspension, specified braking, lighting, ramp, gooseneck, deck, and rear-bogie features, and other requirements detailed in the specifications. Bidders offering an approved equal must provide complete technical specifications and written explanations of deviations. The bidder must be an authorized trailer dealer and submit documentation proving that status. The bid price must include all furnishing and delivery charges. Required submission materials include the completed bid form, signed general terms and conditions, business registration certificate, authorized-dealer documentation, ownership disclosure, liability insurance certificate, vendor information form, W-9, required New Jersey disclosure certifications, and employee-information-report evidence as applicable; the portal identifies approved-equal technical specifications as optional.
