Macon-Bibb County is soliciting a contractor to provide broad facilities maintenance and operational services, including plumbing, general contracting, building repairs and maintenance, traffic signal maintenance, and interstate lighting maintenance and repairs. The work includes preventive and routine maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment and fixture repair or replacement, lighting-circuit maintenance, work-zone setup, and compliance with applicable electrical, transportation, safety, and permitting standards. The contractor must provide the labor, equipment, materials, permits, supervision, and assigned manager or supervisor needed for the work. Services include on-call emergency and non-emergency repairs on a time-and-materials basis, with detailed invoices showing labor hours, parts, materials, markups, and supporting information. Respondents must have at least three years of relevant experience, be licensed to do business in Georgia, and submit separate technical and cost proposals. The cost proposal includes labor rates, emergency-response rates, annual preventive-maintenance pricing where applicable, equipment rates, and parts-and-materials markups capped at 25 percent.
