Description
The Board of Water Works of Pueblo, operating as Pueblo Water, is soliciting an installation service agreement for the complete demolition and replacement of the Whitlock Treatment Plant's existing ammonia gas piping system. The work covers piping from the bulk tank room to the feeder room and from the feeder room to the chemical ditch, including Schedule 80 welded-socket-joint piping, supports, hangers, valves, fittings, accessories, protective coating, and all required labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and technical expertise. The contractor must maintain the existing ammonia system during construction except for a brief coordinated outage for final tie-in and commissioning; perform pressure, leak, and functional testing; complete steam cleaning and nitrogen drying as required; and provide as-built drawings, inspection reports, welding certifications, coating documentation, test results, compliance records, permits, and a minimum two-year workmanship and materials warranty. Minimum qualifications include five similar industrial gas-piping projects, welded-socket-joint experience, qualified personnel, an active hazardous-gas safety program, and appropriate Colorado licensing, insurance, and authorization. Attendance at the mandatory site visit is required to submit a proposal.
