Description
The City of Florence is seeking a contractor to improve sidewalk and roadway infrastructure on Sunny Side Street. The work includes milling and overlay, mobilization, traffic and pedestrian control, demolition and removal of deteriorated asphalt and concrete, subgrade preparation, installation or replacement of concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, asphalt paving, restoration of disturbed areas, construction coordination, and site cleanup. The project is intended to address existing deficiencies, improve accessibility and drainage, enhance public safety, and provide durable transportation infrastructure improvements. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit are scheduled for September 9, 2026. Questions are due September 17, 2026, and proposals are due no later than September 23, 2026, at 10:00 A.M.
