Description
The Pueblo West Metropolitan District is soliciting competitive bids for replacement of approximately 9,300 linear feet of an existing 10-inch water transmission main between Lift Station No. 1 and Cattail Crossing Pond. The project includes furnishing labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, testing, and incidentals; installing 10-inch HDPE DR11 pipe; and completing associated appurtenances required for a complete and operational water transmission system. Construction will generally follow the Cyclone Trail corridor and adjacent portions of McCulloch Boulevard within existing easements and rights-of-way, using open-cut trenching and horizontal directional drilling. The contract time is 120 calendar days. A 5% bid bond must accompany each bid. The successful bidder must provide performance and labor-and-materials payment bonds and certificates of insurance in accordance with the contract documents. Minority-, small-, disadvantaged-, and women-owned enterprises are encouraged to submit competitive bids.
