Description
The Pueblo West Metropolitan District is soliciting bids for a water-main looping project from Wild Bill Hickock Drive to Buckboard Avenue. The work includes approximately 1,955 linear feet of 8-inch PVC C900 water line and approximately 120 linear feet of 6-inch PVC C900 water line, connections at Rusty Spur Lane and Rough Rock Lane, connections to the existing distribution system, and one existing water-service reconnection. The scope also includes four fire-hydrant assemblies with 6-inch laterals; an air/vacuum valve assembly with manhole and vent; removal and salvage of an existing flushing structure; valves, fittings, groundwater barriers, pipe insulation, trench dewatering, rock excavation, erosion and sediment control, and site restoration. The contract time is 90 calendar days. A 5% bid bond is required with each bid; the successful bidder must provide performance and labor-and-materials payment bonds and certificates of insurance in accordance with the contract documents.
