Description
The contractor will retrofit the underground fuel system by installing new under-dispenser containment assemblies and an extractor-valve containment sump with a traffic-rated manhole. Work includes removing and reinstalling existing dispensers and extractor valves; installing double-wall flexible fuel piping, leak-detection sensors, wiring, conduits, and related components; integrating the sensors with the existing Veeder-Root TLS-4 monitoring system; and restoring concrete and disturbed surfaces. The contractor must test and commission the system and provide the required equipment submittals and documentation. The proposal must include a bid guarantee, a completed price schedule, technical capability materials, and past-performance information. Technical materials include personnel certification evidence, a 90-day project schedule, and equipment data sheets and sourcing information. The solicitation is a total SDVOSB set-aside, requires active SBA SDVOSB certification and SAM registration, and limits subcontracting for general construction. The stated project magnitude is $100,000 to $250,000; the period of performance is 90 calendar days after government receipt of deliverables and written approval of the project schedule.
