Description
The University of Washington is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide general contractor/construction manager (GC/CM) services for a 7,200-square-foot building supporting American Indian, Alaska Native, and Indigenous students. Phase 2 will include a student lounge, spaces for multigenerational knowledge sharing, and Indigenous arts, with design intended to complement the existing Phase 1 building. The solicitation package includes a required Safety & Health Qualifications Statement. Firms with more than ten employees must also provide five years of OSHA 300A information and complete the form’s related safety questions; the form requests safety information for three construction projects led by the proposed superintendent and the company’s OSHA violation history. The informational meeting is encouraged, not stated as mandatory.
