Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks quarterly maintenance and restoration of ceramic tile and grout at its Seattle and American Lake campuses. The work covers approximately 40,000 square feet and includes cleaning, sanitizing, grout repair and color sealing, sealant application, and protective coating maintenance. Restrooms must be ready for foot traffic by 6:00 a.m. each morning. The contractor must use an EPA List N disinfectant or a qualifying equivalent and provide electronic, time-stamped service records, weekly reports, and cleaning training for facility staff. The solicitation includes a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. Quotes must include a technical description of the proposed coating, an explanation of how the work will be performed, relevant experience from the past three years, and pricing for quarterly maintenance and, when applicable, coating removal and replacement. A total small-business set-aside applies.
