Description
The contractor must provide, own, manage, maintain, launder, and deliver medical-grade rental linens and apparel, including pillowcases, sheets, towels, scrubs, lab coats, and patient gowns. The estimated quantities include weekly delivery and pickup, with clean and soiled items exchanged during the same visit. The contractor is responsible for inventory replacement, hygienic processing, segregation of clean and contaminated linen, secure handling, and delivery receipts. Dry cleaning is not required or authorized. The contractor must hold current, active HLAC accreditation or TRSA certification producing consistently “Hygienically Clean” results, and maintain the accreditation during performance. A quality-control manual addressing applicable healthcare and sanitation requirements is also required. The solicitation requests a technical submission, completed pricing worksheet, and past-performance information for two recent and relevant projects; past performance is evaluated. The contract is firm-fixed-price with a one-year base period, four one-year options, and a six-month extension option.
