Description
The City of Auburn seeks a contractor to furnish and install a seismic control valve at Reservoir 2. Work includes excavation, shoring, a valve vault, piping, electrical work, instrumentation and controls, and reconfiguration of the reservoir overflow and drain. The proposed bid range is $2.3 million to $2.8 million, and the project must be physically completed within 250 working days. The project has federal and other governmental funding requirements that apply to the contractor and its subcontractors. Mandatory supplemental qualification criteria are included in the project-specific provisions. Bids must include a deposit equal to 5% of the bid amount, in an accepted form.
