Public Water Supply District No. 2 of St. Charles County, Missouri, is soliciting sealed bids for construction of approximately 14,741 linear feet of 30-inch Class 250 ductile iron water main, 337 linear feet of 30-inch restrained-joint ductile iron pipe, and approximately 50 linear feet of 42-inch steel casing installed using jack-and-bore methods. The work includes connection to the existing water transmission system and all associated appurtenances, including butterfly valves, fire hydrants, air-release valves, fittings, testing, disinfection, restoration, and incidental work required to provide a complete and operational system. Each bid must include bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount. The contractor must comply with Missouri prevailing-wage and immigration-law requirements, submit a Work Authorization Affidavit with the bid, and provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program for onsite employees. Award is intended for the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
