Description
Kane County seeks contractors to provide building automation system design, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and emergency on-call services across its facilities. Work includes preventive maintenance and inspections; testing and calibration; replacement of controls, sensors, actuators, valves, and related components; programming and configuration; remote monitoring and diagnosis; system licensing and lifecycle advice; and staff training. The contractor must be trained and certified on the specified BAS platforms, provide qualified personnel, and support both remote and on-site response. Prevailing wage requirements apply. The solicitation requests hourly labor rates and a material markup. The contract is for two years from execution, with three optional one-year renewals by mutual agreement. The County may make multiple awards. Subcontracting requires prior County approval, and the contractor must provide proof of insurance with its proposal.
