Description
The City of Aurora is establishing an availability list of up to six contractors to provide on-call emergency repair services for storm, sanitary, and combined sewers and water mains at various locations throughout the city. The scope includes water-main and sewer repairs, pipe and fitting installation, valves, line stops, service connections, excavation, pavement and sidewalk removal, disposal, backfill, traffic control, mobilization, labor, equipment, and related restoration work. Bidders must submit unit prices for a broad schedule of materials, labor classifications, equipment, and emergency repair activities. Contractors must be able to mobilize and be prepared to work within two hours of initial contact. The contract has an initial two-year term beginning January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2028, with up to one additional one-year renewal by mutual written agreement. The City expects the prime contractor to perform the contract and does not accept proposals submitted solely by subcontractors, brokers, or third-party vendors.
