Description
Cook County Health is seeking one vendor to provide comprehensive call center services for its Central Fill and Mail Order Pharmacy Program. The scope includes 24-hour, seven-day inbound and outbound support for patients, caregivers, providers, health plans, and pharmacy staff, including prescription-status inquiries, refill assistance, shipment and delivery support, insurance and eligibility inquiries, prior-authorization follow-up, patient outreach, medication-adherence campaigns, and escalation to licensed pharmacists when required. The vendor must provide qualified pharmacy technicians and licensed pharmacists, staffing, supervision, training, quality assurance, workforce management, reporting, business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities, and HIPAA-compliant operations. The proposal must address implementation and transition, staffing, performance metrics, compliance, financial status, insurance, legal actions, conflicts of interest, confidentiality, pricing, MBE/WBE participation, and contract exceptions. The anticipated term is three years with two optional one-year extensions.
