Description
Proviso Township High Schools District 209 seeks proposals for a renewed or new managed fiber optic wide area network connecting three high school campuses at 10 Gbps: Proviso East High School, Proviso Mathematics & Science Academy, and Proviso West High School. The requested agreement is a 12-month managed lease, with implementation expected after July 1, 2027, subject to E-rate and Board of Education approval. The contractor must provide a turnkey solution, including network design, installation and construction, permits and rights-of-way coordination, fiber handoffs to each school's main distribution frame, and managed Cisco routers or equivalent metropolitan networking equipment. The proposal must address uptime of at least 99.99%, maintenance and support procedures, service levels and response times, cable-cut response, pricing, eligible and ineligible costs, E-rate compliance, a network design drawing, typical managed lease and maintenance contracts, and relevant Illinois or nearby references. The vendor must provide its SPIN number and offer the Lowest Corresponding Price.
