Description
The California Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting automatic door maintenance, repair, and installation services for the Veterans Home of California at Yountville. The scope covers preventive maintenance for approximately 23 single-slide doors, 20 double-slide doors, 110 single-swing doors, and 7 double-swing doors, along with incidental and emergency repairs, replacement parts, and related documentation. Emergency repair requests require a response within two hours, while non-emergency repair requests require a response within 24 hours. The contractor must also provide as-needed installation of BEA Superscan safety sensors and BEA touchless activation sensors, including assessment, mounting, wiring, integration, configuration, testing, documentation, training, and warranties. Work must comply with applicable ANSI automatic-door standards and manufacturer specifications. Bidders must hold an applicable California contractor license, maintain required registrations and insurance, and perform services in person at the facility during the three-year contract term. The solicitation requires a completed bid rate sheet and multiple state forms and certifications, including the Bidder Certification Sheet, STD 204, Bidder Declaration, applicable DVBE documentation, CCC certification, California Civil Rights Laws Certification, and business-license or incorporation documentation.
