Description
The City of Ladue is seeking a contractor to demolish and clear acquired residential buyout properties, including entire residential buildings, outbuildings, and debris. The scope includes removal of asbestos-containing materials at select sites, disposal, site grading, and restoration. The project may involve zero to three properties, with work authorized in separate rounds on a per-property basis after acquisition; each property must be completed within 60 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The contractor must comply with applicable Missouri Department of Natural Resources and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requirements, notify the relevant agencies before beginning work, address underground tanks and other subsurface infrastructure, protect environmental resources, and coordinate with applicable authorities for work in wetlands. The successful contractor must be licensed by Missouri to remove asbestos-containing materials, pay prevailing wages, and ensure on-site employees complete the specified 10-hour OSHA construction safety program within 60 days of beginning work. Bids must use the provided forms, be signed by an authorized company officer, and include bid security equal to 5% of the total bid.
