Police Gun Range Training Facility Services for Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center

Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 19, is conducting market research to identify potential sources for police gun range training facility services for the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center. The services are required to support approximately 50 officers per cycle for quarterly training in marksmanship, Active Threat Response, non-lethal devices, arrest control, Ground Defense Recovery, and classroom-based academic instruction. The training facility must be located within 50 miles of Aurora, CO, and provide 24/7 access with prior reservation. It should include classrooms for up to 50 students, a mat room for defensive tactics, clean restrooms, pistol and/or rifle ranges with distances from 0 to 50 yards accommodating at least 10 firing lanes, an open area for Active Threat Response training, a Shoot House, and a Sim House. The VA will provide all necessary training equipment and supplies. The facility must also permit the storage of a VA-provided "Conex" box or a fully enclosed trailer for the contract period.
