Description
Kennesaw State University is seeking qualified and experienced contractors to provide comprehensive metal fabrication and welding services supporting maintenance, renovation, and construction needs across both campuses. The scope includes fabrication, welding, installation, inspection, repair, emergency response, estimating, value engineering, constructability reviews, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project closeout for items such as handrails, brackets, structural supports, fencing, platforms, gates, and protective guards. The solicitation establishes an indefinite task order contract with no guaranteed minimum number or dollar value of projects. The university intends to award multiple contracts, with individual task orders generally limited to $100,000 and a maximum annual amount of $100,000 per contractor. Performance and payment bonds may be required at 100% for task orders of $100,000. The contract may have a one-year term with up to four additional one-year extensions. Responses must be submitted electronically as one consolidated PDF through the Georgia sourcing website.
