Description
The City of Oceanside is soliciting sealed bids for Point Repair Program—Package No. 9, a public-works construction project involving replacement of identified sections of existing gravity sewer pipe with new PVC pipe, reconnection of existing sewer laterals to new mains, and connections to existing facilities. Addendum No. 2 revises the scope to specify new lateral Y-connections, management of nuisance water instead of dewatering, and post-construction videos and photographs of work, staging, and laydown areas. Several previously described Northwood Drive and Valley Heights Road manhole and cleanout items were deleted. The work includes excavation, trench support, backfill and compaction, sewer bypassing, pavement and surface restoration, utility protection, surveying, potholing, CCTV inspection, traffic control, permits, public notifications, and water-pollution-control measures. Bidders must provide the required bid forms, a 10% bid security, 100% performance and payment bonds, insurance, licensing, prevailing-wage compliance, and five recent similar-project references. Addendum No. 2 must be acknowledged and returned with the bid; failure to do so will cause rejection.
