Description
Sullivan County is soliciting a contractor for an Emergency Watershed Protection project at 1410 Champion Hill Road in Muncy Valley, Pennsylvania. The work includes mobilization and demobilization; stream diversion and dewatering; removal of an existing precast wall and riprap; construction of an approximately nine-foot stacked rock wall; pinning of an existing precast block wall; tree removal; installation of approximately 175 to 181 feet of grouted R7 and R6 riprap and non-grouted R8 riprap with R4 riprap choking; road berm extension; and topsoiling, permanent seeding, and mulching of disturbed areas. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies, comply with prevailing-wage requirements, and obtain inspector approval for material sources. The work must be completed within 22 calendar days after delivery of the Notice to Proceed. A mandatory pre-bid showing is required, and the bid must cover the total project. A 10% bid bond or certified check is required with the bid; the successful contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds or certified checks after award.
