Description
The City of Wichita is soliciting construction bids for sanitary sewer rehabilitation along Lincoln Street from Green Street to Hillside. The work includes cured-in-place pipe lining, traffic control, site preparation and restoration, and bypass pumping. The bid table lists approximately 1,779 linear feet of 10-inch pipe lining, with payment based on lump-sum and measured-quantity bid items. The contractor must inspect and clean the pipelines, maintain sewage flow during construction, verify and reinstate active building service connections, and provide pre- and post-lining inspection videos and logs. The work must be completed within 20 working days after it begins. A bid bond of 5% of the total bid or an annual bid bond is required before bid opening; performance and payment bonds are required from the successful bidder.
