Description
The City of Wichita is soliciting bids for Phase II reconstruction of 21st Street North. The work includes roadway and pavement reconstruction, sidewalks and curb ramps, storm drainage, sanitary sewer and waterline improvements, traffic signals and markings, landscaping, and erosion-control measures. The bid table lists lump-sum and measured-quantity items across these work areas. The project also includes coordination with railroads, utility locating and potholing, temporary shoring and monitoring, and management of potentially petroleum-impacted excavated soil. Bidders must have at least three years of experience providing similar services and submit pricing for all stipulated items. A 5% bid bond or an annual bid bond on file is required before bid opening; performance and payment bonds are required from the successful bidder.
