Description
The City seeks a contractor for a unit-price construction project involving sidewalk and pavement repairs and replacement. Bid items include concrete sidewalk repairs of several thicknesses, brick paver repairs, wheelchair ramps with detectable warnings, curb and gutter repairs, asphalt repairs, curb drains, fill, and sod. Quantities are estimates and may be adjusted; work locations will be assigned over the course of the contract. The contractor is responsible for construction, traffic and pedestrian controls, property-owner notifications, inspections, and restoration of disturbed areas. Work must comply with the City’s specifications and accessibility requirements. A 5% bid bond or annual bid bond is required before bid opening; the successful bidder must furnish performance and labor and material payment bonds, and provide required insurance after award.
