Description
The City of Wichita seeks a contractor to construct new aquifer storage and recovery recharge basins, a well house, and recharge metering and piping at the M15 well site. The work includes site clearing, grading, demolition and restoration; excavation; drives, fencing, wells, a holding tank, sewer and water piping, valves, culverts, monitoring and metering equipment, slope protection, a concrete headwall, and related electrical service. A generator set is listed as an add alternate. The award is based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid, with selected add alternates. Bidders must submit pricing for all stipulated items and groups, provide a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid or have an annual bid bond on file, and meet the stated experience and qualification requirements. The successful bidder must provide performance and labor and material payment bonds, as well as required insurance, after award. The work order is to be issued 30 calendar days after contract award, and the work must be completed by June 15, 2027.
