Description
Ramsey County's Environmental Health Department is soliciting proposals for secure transportation, recycling, and refurbishment of electronics, kitchen countertop appliances, microwaves, and small electric items collected from residents. Services include staging up to two 53-foot semi-trailers, providing pallets and other handling supplies, transporting materials from the Environmental Center within the required timeframe, securely protecting equipment and data, maximizing reuse and recycling, and providing monthly invoices and annual summary reports. The contractor must have at least five years of demonstrated electronics-recycling experience and comply with applicable licensing and certification requirements, including NAID AAA data-destruction standards and SERI R2V3:2020 or successor standards. The response is limited to 15 pages, excluding Attachment A and required forms, and must include a workplan, qualifications and experience, key staff resumes, and completed pricing and solicitation forms.
