Description
Putnam County is soliciting a contractor to operate and manage its solid waste management and disposal activities. The scope includes staffing convenience centers, disposing of solid waste and recyclables, transporting waste to appropriate disposal facilities, recycling, and maintaining regulatory reporting and records. The solicitation identifies 2025 convenience-center tonnage totaling 10,970.97 tons and includes an attachment listing convenience-center hours and locations. The proposal must include an executive summary, technical approach, project team information, at least three similar-service client references, a detailed financial proposal, legal and compliance information, and relevant certifications, licenses, or accreditations. The successful contractor must provide required insurance and comply with applicable licensing, employment, immigration, drug-free workplace, and regulatory requirements. The contract is scheduled to begin January 1, 2027.
