Description
Ramsey County seeks a qualified financial professional and CPA to support its Finance Department with GASB 87 lease accounting, GASB 96 subscription-based information technology arrangement analysis, and general financial statement work. The scope includes contract and invoice data gathering, lease and software contract evaluations, capitalization analysis, valuation and amortization schedules, journal entry templates, GASB-specific footnote disclosures, electronic workpapers, and data formatted for software imports when applicable. The responder must have at least five years of direct experience completing GASB 87 and GASB 96 reviews for public-sector entities. The work also includes accounting staff augmentation during peak workloads, vacancies, or special projects. Services are anticipated from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with up to four additional one-year extensions, and the agreement ends after the allowable five-year term or when total expenditures reach $175,000, whichever occurs first.
