Description
Ramsey County is soliciting a prime contractor for construction services to demolish and replace the control panel at the Gottfried Pit/Larpenteur Lift Station. The work includes related electrical construction, temporary panel relocation and wiring to maintain station operation, control-panel installation, programming, testing, startup, commissioning, operator training, and provision of specified spare parts and documentation. The replacement system includes a lift station control panel with PLC-based pump controls, variable-frequency drives, level transducer and float switches, telemetry and SCADA interfaces, generator receptacles, surge protection, UPS equipment, hazardous-location components, and associated wiring, grounding, raceways, and electrical equipment. The project requires a 5% bid bond, prevailing-wage compliance, workforce and contracting inclusion reporting, and submission of specified bid forms and certifications. Subcontractors may be used with County approval; the contract is fixed-price, and the work must be completed within 180 working days after notice to proceed.
