Description
The County of Simcoe is seeking qualified contractors for placement on a Qualified Supplier List to receive and manage the County’s waste-facility blue box recycling. The work involves managing single-stream recyclable materials collected through year-round drop-off services at eight waste management facilities; the County will transport the collected materials to the selected contractor’s facility. The County intends to prequalify all applicants that meet the evaluation requirements, but placement on the list does not guarantee any minimum quantity of work, tonnage, revenue, loads, or material assignments. The Qualified Supplier List term is 12 months, and the County may use one or more contractors based on operational requirements.
