Description
Salt Lake City Corporation is soliciting a contractor for a lump-sum construction project at the Art Barn Arts Council Offices and Finch Lane Art Gallery. The work includes interior demolition; main-entry and accessible-entrance modifications; removal and relocation of an ADA ramp and entrance; new concrete ramp, landing, handrails, door operator, and accessible signage; administrative-office remodeling; storage-closet remodeling; new hardwood flooring, carpet, ceiling systems, painting, casework, and countertops; and related door, railing, and finish work. The project also includes new gallery and general lighting, lighting controls, fire-alarm device relocation, power and door-operator connections, HVAC duct and grille modifications, and related mechanical and electrical work. Bidders must submit the Bid Form, Bid Schedule, Bid Bond, and Value Program Form at bid time. The bid bond must equal at least 5 percent of the total bid; electronic submissions require an electronic or scanned bid bond, while mailed or hand-delivered submissions require an original hard-copy bid bond or cashier's check. The work is to be substantially complete by January 21, 2027.
