Sante Quebec – Centre-Sud-de-l'Ile-de-Montreal Universitaire is seeking a specialized elevator contractor to complete the modernization of Elevator No. 4 at the Paul-Emile-Leger Residential Care Centre. The work includes replacing major mechanical and electrical equipment, including the controller, hoisting machine, motor, suspension cables, safety systems, controls, and signaling devices. The scope also includes complete modernization of the elevator cab, doors, and landing entrances; installation of a two-way communication system and computerized monitoring system; and related work required to meet applicable codes and standards and improve equipment reliability. Work must maintain user safety and continuity of the facility's operations. The contract duration is approximately 10 months according to the procurement summary, while the description states approximately 12 months.
