Description
Hillsborough County intends to make a sole-source award to WeighPay Solutions for a five-year subscription and services contract covering implementation, configuration, cloud hosting, software licensing, maintenance, and ongoing support for the WeighPay Waste Profile Management System. The system will digitize waste-profile administration for County staff, franchise collectors, haulers, and commercial waste generators; automate profile approvals, renewals, correspondence, compliance checks, inspections, and reporting; and maintain audit trails and historical compliance records. The platform includes mobile and offline-capable field inspection functionality with GPS tagging and photo capture, role-based access control, self-service portals, real-time dashboards, system integrations, United States-based cloud hosting, daily backups with point-in-time recovery, security controls, training, and technical support. The estimated total cost is $183,000, consisting of a $75,000 implementation fee and $108,000 in managed services over five years.
