Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service requires rock crushing and stockpiling services at the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. The contractor must produce 6,000 cubic yards of Surface Course Aggregate, Grading S, during the base period, with an option for 4,000 additional cubic yards at a second rock pit. Work includes furnishing labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, and incidentals; preparing work, traffic-control, safety, fire, and quality-control plans; and complying with AASHTO T 27 and T 11 requirements. Gradation testing is required for each 700 cubic yards produced, with a 95% acceptable quality level. Amendment 0001 updated the performance work statement, quality assurance surveillance plan, and maps, added a second quarry to the option line item, and extended the quotation deadline to September 17, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Quotations must include relevant past performance, a technical proposal, and a price quote, submitted as three separate Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachments.
