Description
The USDA Forest Service’s Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests seeks one new, skid-mounted, open-design prime diesel generator rated at 45–50 kW at 60 Hz, with 120/240-volt single-phase output. The generator must include a spark arrestor, grounding hardware, emergency stop switch, block and battery heaters, a viewable controller panel with security cover, and hard-copy operation, service, and repair manuals. Prototype engines are not acceptable, and the unit must reliably start without additives from -10°F to 120°F and comply with NFPA 110. The quote must include delivery and unloading equipment, a manufacturer-authorized dealer or warranty service shop within 75 miles of the delivery location, and a minimum two-year or 2,000-hour manufacturer or authorized-dealer warranty; five years is preferred. The agency intends to make one firm-fixed-price award, and vendors must price all schedule items and provide the specified solicitation form, technical capability information, and a brochure demonstrating compliance.
