Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting a firm-fixed-price supply contract for 24 vertical barrier screen mesh panels for Lower Granite Lock and Dam: 21 panels of the type shown in drawing Figure 3 and 3 panels of the type shown in Figure 4. The panels must use white polyester mesh woven from 1 mm polyethylene terephthalate monofilament with a 5.84 x 5.84 mesh size, specified tensile strength and elongation, heat-setting, dimensional tolerances, and restrictions on splicing. Vinyl edging and reinforcement strips must meet the specified adhesive, thickness, encapsulation, and placement requirements. Panel 8 must have a unique visual identifier. The contractor must provide new, non-remanufactured or gray-market products, comply with Buy American requirements, maintain product condition through acceptance, include manufacturer warranties, and provide sufficient descriptive literature for the Government to evaluate compliance before award. Delivery is FOB destination within 30 weeks following contract award to the Lower Granite Lock and Dam delivery location. The quotation must include shipping costs and remain valid for at least 30 calendar days after the due date.
