Description
Alabama State University is seeking a contractor for the ASU National Center Restoration project, based on drawings and specifications dated August 2026. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the architect or copies thereof, and applicable Alabama general contractor licensing must be demonstrated by displaying the current license number on the sealed bid envelope. Each bid must include a cashier’s check or bid bond payable to Alabama State University for at least 5% of the bid amount, capped at $10,000. Performance and payment bonds, along with evidence of insurance, will be required at contract signing. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled, and bidders must attend.
