La Porte County, Indiana is soliciting proposals for the full replacement of Bridge #7 located on CR 525 West in Springfield Township. The project includes phases for preliminary engineering, right-of-way acquisition, and construction inspection. The estimated construction amount is $1,614,763, with federal and local funding. The contract term is three years. The selected consultant will be responsible for environmental document preparation, topographical survey, non-complex roadway design, level 1 bridge design, right-of-way plan development, project management for acquisition services, title search, appraisal, appraisal review, and construction inspection. A DBE goal of 3% applies. Interested firms must submit a Letter of Interest and an Affirmative Action Certification.
