Description
St. Joseph High School is seeking bids for the renovation of its kitchen area. The project includes the installation of a resinous flooring system (Stonhard Stonshield UTS) over existing concrete and porcelain tile in the kitchen, wash, serving, freezer, cooler, office, lockers, toilet, and janitor rooms. The work also involves demolition of existing flooring and tile base, removal and salvage of kitchen equipment as necessary, and preparation of substrates. Additionally, the project includes electrical work: replacement of light fixtures with new LED types, installation of a generator transfer device for emergency lighting, and associated wiring. The contractor must comply with Michigan building, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical codes. A pre-installation conference is required at least 30 days prior to starting work, and a sample warranty letter must be included with the bid package.
