Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture requires replacement of the transmission in one John Deere 7610 tractor and verification that the tractor is operational after the work. The contractor must provide all tools, equipment, parts, and labor, including a remanufactured transmission, shaft work, transmission removal and installation, hydraulic-line, hose, cable, wiring, and leakage repairs, and operational testing at operating speeds. This is a one-time, firm-fixed-price repair requirement with one anticipated award. Quotations must include pricing for all schedule items, a technical package addressing the contractor’s capability, technical and management approach, schedule compliance, and any requirements that cannot be met, as well as relevant experience from projects performed within the last five years. The acquisition is a total small-business set-aside, and the work must be completed by August 14, 2026.
