Description
The City of Norfolk is seeking an authorized equipment-manufacturer dealer to provide as-needed maintenance and repair services for the City's lawn care equipment. The scope includes servicing Stihl small engines, Super Z Hustler mowers, and other equipment listed in the lawn equipment inventory, including weed eaters, chainsaws, blowers, pressure washers, pumps, generators, pole saws, trimmers, sprayers, and riding mowers. The contractor must provide qualified, factory-trained and certified technicians; furnish all tools and equipment; perform scheduled and corrective maintenance; document repairs; provide estimates within 24 business hours of equipment drop-off; and provide warranty-related pickup and delivery. The contractor must be located within 10 miles of 6040 Waterworks Road, Norfolk, Virginia. The resulting agreement has a five-year term. Quotes must include the completed RFQ cover page, Attachments A through F, electronic-posting vendor submission requirements and pricing, and a proprietary-information statement; Attachment G is encouraged but not required.
