Description
The City of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department is soliciting a formal bid for one new, unused, current-model 144-inch zero-turn mower for parks maintenance. The specified or approved-equal unit must include a minimum 44 HP Yanmar turbo diesel engine, diesel fuel, a minimum 12-gallon fuel capacity, a 144-inch or wider rear-discharge cutting deck, six blades, foldable ROPS with seat belt, hydraulic deck lift, specified transmission and cooling features, listed accessories, and a manufacturer warranty of at least two years. The unit must be delivered assembled, operational, serviced, and with all fluids filled. Bidders must demonstrate a certified manufacturer-reseller relationship, experience providing comparable equipment and warranty service during the past five years, and at least four similar customer references. The response must include pricing entered electronically, reference pages, subcontractor information if applicable, experience documentation, current product and dealer literature, dealer build sheets, warranty documentation, and a delayed-warranty procedure. Any alternate must be fully described in an attached letter. Warranty service must be performed by an authorized franchised OEM dealer, with the successful bidder coordinating pickup, transport, repairs, and return of the equipment.
