Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting quotes from small-business concerns for brand-name-or-equal landscaping equipment: one 61-inch commercial zero-turn riding mower, one 36-inch commercial 36-inch hydrostatic walk-behind mower, and one tandem-axle utility trailer. The mowers must meet detailed commercial-use requirements covering cutting decks, hydrostatic drives, engines, safety equipment, serviceability, durability, and manufacturer warranties. The trailer must be a 7-foot-wide, 18- or 20-foot tandem-axle trailer with brakes, a GVWR above 7,500 pounds, loading gates, a 2 5/16-inch ball hitch, and a spare tire with mount. The vendor must provide new equipment, manufacturer warranties, delivery within 30 days after receipt of order, and documentation supporting authorized-reseller status and warranty coverage. Quotes for equal products must include manufacturer literature or other documentation demonstrating compliance with the salient characteristics. The quote package must include pricing for all three contract line items, a completed and signed Standard Form 1449, the Buy American Certificate, and any applicable amendment form, along with the required technical documentation.
