Description
The City of Columbia City is seeking a contractor for an as-needed, on-call blanket contract to abate rank vegetation, overgrown grass, noxious weeds, and related debris on public rights-of-way and private parcels found in violation of local ordinances. Work includes mowing and string trimming, tree pruning, removal and lawful disposal of cut debris and brush, and application of approved herbicides; herbicide application requires an appropriate license. The contract is effective October 27, 2026, through December 31, 2027, with two additional one-year renewal options upon mutual agreement. Sealed bids must be delivered to the City Clerk-Treasurer's office by the stated deadline and clearly marked as required.
