Description
The Town of Delhi is seeking a contractor for construction work to rehabilitate its sewer system. The project is financed in whole or in part through the Louisiana Clean Water State Revolving Fund and is subject to applicable federal requirements, including American Iron and Steel provisions, Davis-Bacon wage requirements, equal-opportunity requirements, and related environmental and labor clauses. Bids must include bid security equal to 5% of the bidder’s maximum bid price in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount. Prime bidders must obtain the bidding documents directly from the engineer, and required attachments and certifications must be executed and submitted within ten days after bid opening.
