The U.S. Navy is soliciting repair services for an aircraft engine control unit, part number 2042M67P02 and NSN 2995-01-633-2419. The contractor must provide the facility, labor, materials, replacement parts, tooling, and test equipment necessary to overhaul, upgrade, repair, test, inspect, and return the unit to a ready-for-issue condition in accordance with current original equipment manufacturer technical publications and applicable drawings and repair manuals. The contractor must perform the work at the identified repair facility, establish and maintain appropriate repair, inspection, quality, calibration, configuration-management, storage, and process-control systems, and meet the contractually specified repair turnaround time. The contractor is responsible for required parts and materials unless identified as government-furnished material; cannibalization and changes to approved repair sources, facilities, manuals, drawings, or specifications require government approval. The solicitation also requires reporting and coordination for beyond-economical-repair, missing-on-induction, and over-and-above repair conditions.
