Description
Penn Forest Township is soliciting snow removal services for approximately 25 miles of township roads during the 2026/2027 winter season, with renewal periods potentially extending the arrangement up to three years. The contractor must respond within one hour of a call from the Road Master or Assistant Road Master, remove snow, and salt roads as necessary to maintain ice-free surfaces. The township will supply salt and anti-skid materials and load them onto the contractor's vehicles; the contractor must provide the required trucks, plows, salt spreaders, operators, and other equipment. Bidders must submit the required bid forms, pricing, insurance information, and at least three current local references for similar snow-plowing agreements, including contact information. The solicitation may award separate contracts for different equipment configurations or one contract covering all required equipment. A 10% performance guarantee is required, and the selected contractor must provide specified commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and employer's liability coverage.
