Description
Edwardsville Borough is soliciting one prime contractor for the Church Street Streetscape Project on State Route 1004. The work includes widening the roadway for on-street parking; reconstructing concrete sidewalks, curbs, ADA ramps, and driveway aprons; milling and overlaying the existing bituminous pavement; constructing full-depth pavement for the roadway expansion; installing storm drainage structures and pipe; relocating utilities as required; planting and removing trees; pavement markings and signage; maintenance and protection of traffic; erosion and sediment pollution controls; and incidental construction work. Bids are unit-price and/or lump-sum based. The project requires Pennsylvania prevailing wages, a bid bond equal to 10% of the bidder’s maximum bid price, and, after award, performance and labor-and-material payment bonds each equal to at least 100% of the contract price. The contract provides for substantial completion within 150 days and final completion within 275 days after the contract times commence. Required bid materials include the electronic pricing submission, bid security, qualification information, proposed subcontractor and supplier lists, and the listed affidavits, certifications, verification forms, and supporting documents.
